We could do a class 3 fight and include battleships, say one event could be 1 battleship, 2 cruisers, 3 frigates per team. 2 teams go at it. Next class 3 event could be 3 battleships 3 cruisers, 3 frigates.
The reason for the class 2-4 events is to bring fair, skill based PVP to those who want it. 90% of all battles are an uneven match. Ganking an indy in a battleship may be fun, but it lacks a challange that these events can provide.
I think 1 on 1 requers allot of skill, group battles tend to be whoever has the best communication, leadership, and teamwork win.
On another note, the first class 1 event is going ahead. More info here...
