Yes, because those periodic floods of 'Why is my wallet at -20B isk?' forum posts are caused by magic elfs. ^_^
Shutting down obvious sources of for-sale ISK would be counterproductive.
Heck i had my wallet set -4 bil and ive never brought isk.... i havent even gon near selling GTC's. Im a student living in london we cant afford to buy isk...CCP just told me that 3 years ago somthing was suspecious with a character i sold. But as anyone whos played this game for a long while knows, petitioning gets you no-where, best just to suckup the GM's decission. Didnt like getting random ban'd for 20 days with no reason sent to my e-mail address either.
So dont think CCP are really on the ball with this.... GM's try to track isk but naturally this constant flow is difficult to pin who is responcible and who is not. If a friend in real life donates isk to you for no reason other then him quiting, is he isk selling? because the logs sure as fek make it look like it. If they tackled it at the source i would think they could determine the difference but that would actualy require investigation. Everyone thinks CCP is doing a great job with these things till you get screwed by a GM who gives you little or no reason and presumes you must be isk buying. Not that all GM's are bad but once the accusation has been made your guility until proven innocent in terms of senior GM's who really dont want to reverse decisions unless they have to. But sure believe every guy that thinks it sucks to have large sums of isk removed from you is an isk buyer if ya want :)

Until this thread I had no idea it was even possible to send a NPC corp evemail
Not that I would waste 2 billion isk to send stupid messages like that.
Understandable they set it that high otherwise isk farmers would use the corp mail to spam people like crazy. ____________________________________________ When going to a party with wine, women, and song. Always acertain the vintage of the first two. |

Yes, it is possible, just has a huge CSPA. One of my alts was in an NPC corp that had someone send a corp mail a while back. Waste of 4bil though

I don't know. The GM's seem like they are on the ball. Last summer I got scammed out of 3 billion ISKS, and the GM's not only got my ISKS back but they banned the whole group that nailed me.
And as far as macro-miners go I honestly don't care about them. I really don't think that they are a great threat. I have 7 alts, and I mine with all of them in a fleet. I am more of a threat than any macro miner could ever be. I say leave 'em alone.

I think their economy is doing pretty well at the moment considering the rest of the world is in deep ****.
Having spent a couple of months there last summer, food is not really a problem. Energy was, but now it is cheap again.
I have seen more people begging for food in Europe and the US than China.

Are corp mails available for anyone in SWA no matter if they joined before/after the one sending the mail.
In clear words - if I send a corp mail TODAY will the guy who registers next year be able to see it?

Your not for real are you? Even if your speaking from first hand experiance i cant imagine you went round slum areas? China's a World power and some people are getting very rich but that doesnt mean the average farmer, factory worker, or labourer has anywhere near the quality of life or simple comforts we expect from Europe or the US.
But yes on another note at least somebody is thinking of the children.

China's economy is in the shaft right now. Over 9000 factories have closed in the last 3 months putting over 1.5 million people out of work. As the European, Japanese and American recessions continue it will only get worse for the Chinese not better.

Ahem. China's GDP's growth for 2008 is expected to slow down to..... 8%. For US it will be negative, best case -0.5%, worse -2%. EU as a whole flat 0, UK -1%. These figures are from the Economist.
As for slums in China? I do not know what image you have about slums from where you live and where you have been, but there are no western type slums in China. Do no forget that this is a socialist country still.
And I will repeat my self. I have not seen a hungry man in China. I backpacked from the south to the north and I did see some destitude is some rural areas but not hunger.

I can recommand some so called westen slums. Liverpool, I really dont want to ever go there again, well, not long enought that i need a loo there..... part of south london and "the Jungle" in Glasgow in scotland....and many many more. Those places really make u think if u r still in the 5th or 6th richest country in the world.

CCP keeps them around for a simple reason, they pay their subscription fees.
I've run across dozens of macros, reported them all (in some cases more than once), came back a few days or weeks later, only to find them still farming away. CCP isn't doing jack about it, and if they are, it's 1 account at a time while 20 more spawn up.
/me hands TheG2 a tinfoil hat.
Dude...seriously...lay off the Illuminati crap. It's just like law enforcement fighting drugs. Don't go for the little people. Go for the bosses.
