It is a fate that all will share if in game long enough. And for those alliances governed on the foundation of a despotic regime, the end cycle can be most turbulent and sorrowful. And through it allà in the endà one will be left to carry on the legacy. So in tribute, I hold my glass up high to my fellow capsuleers who once built and carried the name Pureà Let us salute the one who weathered it all and who now alone carryÆs the banner in the end. May the success of ventures past grant this new band of buccaneers the success they so desire in the future! To Pure!

Sure, they through their lot in with the bloated NC, and became bloated themselves, leading to the eventual, embarrassing downfall, but once, long before that, I believe there was something in Pure to be very proud of. Kahn!! - In essence, any combat related activity involving damage has been 'speed nerfed' to just take 6 times longer with a predetermined outcome coined balance by CCP.

I have nothing but respect for the people i flew with in my corp and others in pure, sister bliss and codin plaks being 2 of teh best fc's i have flown with. So lets just salute pure for the alliance it was and not what it became in the end, heres hoping everyone who was part of it is now out there enjoying the game again. Ooh and for the initiative people here who feel a need to sling dirt at what was once thier home, you aint exactly clean yourselves so lets not muddy things here now if you'll excuse me i have a caracal to fit out

Both credit and criticism were given where due. Also, if you think PURE fell due to the Dek 'curse' then you are well wide of the mark. Tbh they could barely organise to put up POSes in Dek after they took it lol.

Thanks for the tribute Atropos - although posting on CAOD ain't the PURE. style For the record, PURE. recently became a 1 corp alliance, and we will stay as a 1 corp alliance, completing our own deleveraging following the overstretch of trying to own two 0.0 regions on seperate sides of the cluster, and being attacked by BOB, TRI, GOODFELLAS after previously being on the offensive pretty much non-stop since T1TS were up in the North at the start of the year. So we're not dead - and nor do we intend to die, but we're certainly adapting our gamestyle away from the territory-holding alliance we were for 2 years. (And havin held territory in 0.0 for 4 years straight, in PURE and the alliance before that one - it makes a very pleasant change not to worry about POS!) You'll see us around - some more than others - but for most of you hopefully you'll see us next in the Alliance Tournament, where we'll kick your a*se! One day I'll get around to writing the history of PURE. But don't hold your breath, I still haven't got round to publishing the story of what really went down with the first alliance we formed. To all the pilots who flew under the PURE. banner (yes, even you hor), I salute you all, and I only hope you go on to accomplish more great things like you did when you were in PURE. Was a good alliance to learn the ropes in, and had some good FCs, especially Codin Plaks, who I rate as one of the best Ive flown under. Sad to hear the way it ended. I wish The Initative all the luck and know they will do great things in the future.
