Edited by: Rodge on 13/07/2004 10:19:01 Two ways you can do this. In Empire, it's as handy to move one ship to the station you want to move the ships to, then buy a shuttle (usually less than 10K) and fly the shuttle back to the first station. Then get another ship and move it.
Or, you can fly the first ship to the new station and select dock. Just as the ship is docking, select "Eject from ship" and your pod will eject, but the ship will continue and dock and go into your hangar in the station. You can now fly the pod back to the first station and move another ship. This method is especially useful in low sec space when not every station actually has a market to buy a shuttle from.
You can't put a badger into another ship. It's too big. You can fit a shuttle into the cargo hold of an industrial ship (edit - may need a cargo expander or two, I know I can fit one into my Badger II), but that's it.
Hope this helps.

At the same time a good question would be, shuttles are supposed to be very small and certainly look very small but even packaged, you could not fit one into a normal indy.
It this not a little bit unrealistic? S'dram, Scientist Noob |

You can't transport normal ship in Industrial ship, but you can put in Shuttle when they are repackage.
A gallente shuttle occupy 5000m3 of cargo space.
In an Iteron IV with Cargo Expand, it's fitting well :) --

dajar, actually you can fit frigates into indy ship's, it's just very expensive to do
get a iteron V, and buy 24%+ cargo expanders, fit as many as u can in the hold, u should JUST be able to fit 1 frigate(so i;ve been told)

I just found out that if you dock at a station with an escape pod you get a rookie ship given to you by the insurance company too. I wonder if your insurance goes up from doing that...

If you're using the escape pod method of transporting ships that I suggested, it's a good idea to dock at a different station within the system you're transporting the ships to.
This way, you get a free rookie ship to travel back to the first station. It may not be much, but it's a lot faster than travelling in a pod.
If you dock at the same station that you put the ship, you won't get a free rookie ship, it will put you into one of the ships you have docked in that station instead.
