Which Minmatar faction agent do you guys think is the best to run missions for if you don't want to go into low-sec at all. I have been using the agent in Emolgranlan, but I honestly hate the missions he gives. Is there a better level 4 Minmatar agent that never sends you to low-sec?

This never throws you into lowsec. It's quiet system, under 50 missioners and miners mostly. Sebiestor tribe. Great agent. Quality 18, Internal Security.

I dont think moving to a different Minmatar agent will have any bearing on the missions you get, I may be wrong of course but I think to get a limited amount of different missions you would need to change faction.
Oh and the agent listed above is the same quality as you are using now but you'll get slightly lower rewards due to it being a 0.7 system rather than 0.5

I never seem to get all the good Angel missions I used to get from the Agent in Emol. I used to mission in Gelfiven 9-17 and would get worlds collide, angel extraveganza, the blockade, etc etc all very high bounty, good salvage angel rat missions. Now that I am in Emolgranlan I seem to get a lot of missions against he Amarr which have no bounties and meh salvage, as well as many just crappy missions which do not give good ISK per hour.
Any thoughts?

I'm using the same agent as you - I would assume - and in the last few days have had WC, the Blockade twice and AE that I farmed for a couple of days due to time constraints. Oh and Gone Berserk - love that mission :)
I generally ask for a mission at the end of the night, if its a keeper great if not decline it, ask for the next one and if that's decline worthy then log in quickly in the morning to decline it and ask for the next - by the time I get home I've got the option to decline again plus once more that play session.
I dont mind doing the Ammar missions but have declined the 5 parter prophecy one a couple of times recently.
I think it really is just your luck, and a run of 'bad luck' sticks in your mind longer than the time you blitzed Recon twice in half an hour.
Post up your rep fleet transaction change history and I'll do the same for comparison purposes....

DOOD!
you get tags ( youre bounty as you sell them on the market to npc's ) and you get great salvage from amarr ships.
find a low sec minnie agent hub and make sure it has multiple lvl 4 agents so you can farm in system missions or missions you desire.

Exactly. And I usually find that the tags from an anti-empire faction mission are worth a few million more than a mission against rats with bounty that takes a similar timespan. Loot tends to be decent as well.

As mentioned above.
If you don't mind your Amarr (or Caldari) faction standing going to hell (and I certainly don't) then the dog tags from those missions tend to be on par, if not better ISK than the bounties from Angel missions. Especially missions like "Smash the Supplier"..
Of course, It isn't the same 'instant ISK gratification' as bounties.. but collect the tags, sell them and you're in the money.
So in that case, my recommendation is Vir Honn, Emolgranlan 0.5 sec, Lvl4 Qual 18 Republic Fleet

Agirtad Dotudnik (RF) in Gelfiven is my personal favorite. I tried the L4 agent in Emolgranlan as well but I flat out hate the physical appearance of that system and would hate to spend hours looking at it. --------

Nope never in the 100+ missions I've ran for him, if the mission isnt in Emol then it tends to be in Ammold or Pator, both 1.0 systems.
Trade hub of Rens is 6 jumps away also just 2 jumps in high sec to Molden Heath if you fancy some cross region trading in your down time.
Closest story line agent is 2 jumps away in Pator and bumps up your Republic Security corp standings, oh and a data centre in Emol as well which is always a good way for newer players to make money dealing in Angel tags

Agents do not send you into different constellations for kill missions, only for courier missions.
Since Eifer, the neighboring lowsec system, is in a different constellation than Emolgranlan, no, Vir Honn will not send you into lowsec for kill missions. You will, however, be sent to lowsec for courier missions.
Also, note that Emolgranlan has a rather large mission running populace, with the increased chance of lag or salvage thievery which comes with a large population.

Heh, yeah. Amamake has arguably the best line-up of mission agents anywhere in the game. Too bad you run the risk of getting your ship shot out from underneath you before the "undocking" dialog box even has a chance to disappear. --------

Vir Honn hasn't ever sent me into low sec for any kill missions.
Of the dozen or so courier missions he has handed to me, maybe one was into low sec, but if I remember right, it was low sec the opposite direction from Eifer. It's amazing how many jumps you can go in that area and only be in the next constellation. That courier mission was to either Anher or Ragnarg.
Storyline missions are another story however. The Pator based storyline agent has an annoying habit of wanting me to deliver 40Km3 of goods into low sec.. I haven't had a problem finishing those as yet. Just make sure you scout the route.

Rod |

Agents will never send you to a system outside of thier own constellation. The low-sec system next to Emolgranlan is another constellation thus you will never be sent there for a mission. The Gelfiven agent is better imo, but he does sent you to low-sec quite often.

The only things I dislike about running missions for Vir Honn are:
1) storyline agent is two jumps away 2) the warp between Honn and the Ammold gate is huge, so it takes little while longer to travel to/from the system.

Regarding the locations of kill missions.
Right after QR came out, a new 3 part mission (the one with Amarr/Angels) was given to me, and guess where I was sent for the first mission? Hurjafren (6 jumps, different constellation)
I got this same mission again, and was sent to Osaumuni (4 jumps, same constellation as hurjafren) for the first mission.
On the second mission in the series I was sent into metropolis (altrinur or vilur, cant remember) And these are all kill missions.
This is the only mission group where I've been sent out of the constellation. Not sure if it is a bug.. but I ran the mission and everything worked as advertised.
Vir Honn bought the beer after those..

Republic Security Service has a nice agent in Ylandoky Its 3 jumps from jita and still reasonably quit.
I dont like guristas with their 35km orbits and crappy salvage so moved south for a while to fix my amarr standing:).
