I thought that DT is 11 to 12 GMT which is 12 - 1 Uk time but it still says unbale to connect to server.

Just after the DT a hot fix patch was applied. The server came up briefly and then another DT occurred.

I do notice that most days the server is usually down for at least another half an hour after the said down time

I got on at about 10 mins to, there was a message that there would be a short unscheduled DT to apply a hot fix they had forgotten to install.

I'm a bit troubled about the DT, i dont have a paid account yet (still few days trial left) but im thinking about joining the game, since its amazing!!! 
My question is this: if the DT keeps increasing from 1 hour per day to something like 1.5 hours, then should the monthly payment be dropped accordingly (or extra days added to account)?? Does anyone anywhere monitor the actual DT and keep statistics?
Ok, so call me paranoid or too realistic, but still.. it keeps me wondering bout the future..

Why waste a topic on the forum like this? it is ridiculous, they contined dt for another 10minutes becausse they forgot something. This was listed in another topic posted at about 8:03.

Downtimes exceeding 1 hour is usually set off by downtimes that are shorter than one hour. DT can be as short as 15 minutes.
When something special happens, like the application of castor patch, it is not unknown that everybody gets credited an additional day of playtime to his account(s).

It doesn't.
Most days the downtime is less than the stated 1 hour, often only 30 minutes.

It doesn't.

Thanks for the clarifications, the door swings both ways then...
Maybe im just unlucky soul because i try to connect every time when DT is over an hour
