Ok this is the same set up on a brutix that I used only 5 hours before this happened. I jump cloned to a station where i had a brutix prefit with 5 250mm rails in high slots and other random things in med and low slots, and I know i have enough cpu and powergrid. I attempted to activate one of my rails on a rat and it says one of my modules is offline. Of course I did not put one of my rails offline, but the game says i did. I docked and tried to activate it, light stays red, then i try again and it says module is already active, but it isnt. Wont let me group, wont let me load ammo, wont let me activate rails. I tried revert patch earlier today to fix to problem of not being able to use audio and type at the same time and visa versa. It fixed that problem but then this started about 6 hours later. Now I am running latest patch again and i can type and use audio just fine, but now this.
I also have the same problems with my esc key, and when i go to log off or quit game if I am lucky enough for the esc key to work, it wont exit game when i click log off or quit game, just sits open and i have to force quit every time.
Also when i open game, i can see two eve online icons pop-up on the dash board, but when i go to look at it later, only 1 shows.
Macbook pro, X leopard,
Please help, Cant play game with this going on.

same problem with log off and quiting to me!!!

Instead of repeatedly posting the same thing, how about spending some time reading other posts, first? You would find that the logoff issue is already known and the solution is to quit instead of logoff when using the OSX client.
Put in the effort to read the information already provided in the forums and - for issues that you don't find answers to here - ask a thorough question rather than hijacking someone's thread for a rhetorical rant.

Qordel was responding to Latvianxxx, not you. As for your fitting I'm pretty sure fittings are checked on the server, not the client.
Try stripping out all modules and refit from scratch. If the ship does not fit and it did before, check that you did not jump clone out of a clone that had some implant that somehow affected fitting.
I'm sorry I cannot help you more than that.

I just clonejumped and those take AGES now, and eventually to get my clone jumped i need to log off. Otherwise it just gets stuck. My clone has identical hardwirings so fitting shouldn't be an issue. Seems like it has nothing to with the amount of grid/cpu, because it doesn't matter what i fit. Anything new is red. Even if my whole ship is stripped and I add a cargohold expander.
Crappy situation because I need to haul stuff and I NEED TO REFIT MY SHIP for the journey.
Odd thing is that I'm ALSO trying to fit a Brutix... Stop whining. |
