You have:
1. Bounty for each kill 2. Loot for each kill 3. Bonus rewards for most missions
And last but not least now and again you score an implant.
And check the forums about agent/corp/faction affects the number of important missions you get.
Imo the balance between risk & difficulty of mission running versus the rewards you get is reasonably well laid out.
You want more? Head into deep space and fight the big ones.
Honestly though, some of the kill missions are now 4 jumps. They take longer to do, you still make A LOT more ISK mining mid level ore for an hour, than to do an hours worth of kill missions with decent social skills.
I think the rewards for agent running should be close to the value in ISK that you would make mining mid-lvl ores like omber.

I disagree. Most would argue that running agents is more fun than mining. If it is more profitable as well even more people would turn to running agent missions instead of mining. In my opinion running agent missions is an anti-social activity. It discourages co-operative game play and team-building and so hurts the game as a whole. I feel that the most profitable activities should be the ones that require the most planning, organizing, and co-operation between players; this builds friendships and seperates this type of game from a single player game. Emphasizing the single player aspects of Eve only serves to undermine it.
Sure, everyone supports saving Einstein's brain, but when you put it in the body of a Great White Shark, suddenly you've "gone too far". |

Mining = Boring Repeative Dragging stuff into a tainer 24/7 Missions = Flying around killing ****, watching people die and ganking rats.
Its quite logical for mining to be more profitable. And i wouldnt mining profit going down if mining became more interesting and actually required the miners to do something. ---------------------------

It would be nice if missions paid by allowing more in game depth, in relation to corps and state. Dynamic missions would be reward enough I feel. The bonus reward at present depends on who you work for, so depending on what route you want to go, do the research and find out what specific stations provide. At present I need and use missiles and charges, therefor the bonuses are well worth my while. I aslo find that the bounties and loot gained on kill missions is a bonus reward too.
