Im sorry, but I looked through several pages of posts and I know there was an excellent post about how to do signature blocks a while back but I cant find anything decent now. If anyone knows where a good signature block post is please let me know. I thought at one time it was stickied but I seem unable to find a decent post on how to create a signature at bottom of my message.
The good news is that I know where on this site to input information once I find out how to create the signature.

Is this thread perhaps what you are looking for? They have little colored blocks in there. Otherwise people normally use image graphics for their signatures, like the one that you see at the bottom of my post.
However there are a few rules to follow if you decide to use a graphic. It must be no wider then 400px, no higher then 120px and the area must be less then 30,000px. This means that you cannot use both the maximum width and the maximum height as this would have an area of 48,000px. The file size must also be 15kb or below.

Banner graphics can be created using a graphics program like Photoshop or Paint Shop Pro. Once completed, the player must host the banner on the web and link to it in their signature screen by pressing the image button and entering the banner's web address.
Finally, the banner must satisfy Eve forum rules:
-The graphic must be a combination of no more than 400 pixels wide and 120 pixels high, totaling no more than 30,000 pixels. E.G. an acceptable combination is 350 x 85 as (350*85 = 29750 pixels)
-The graphic's file size must be no more than 15k.

ty that was the post I remembered! And thanks for the other info. If anyone has any other info to help me greate a signature that would be great.
