These are for armor tanking gunships! (battleships)
Do not fit an AB it is not needed anymore because there are hardly any far away gates in missions anymore! Also AB does not help you to reduce damage or tracking? You need at least one tracking computer?
The best tactics is not to move and kill the rats using guns! If you move, the rats will be scattered and the mission is hard to salvage!
Because of this you shouldnt fit damagemods. They only increase the damage by something like 7%. So use tanking mods or CPRs instead. At average tanking mod increases tank by 20% so its much better choice than damage mods.
Missions are very hard with any less than 2x lar. Only the most easiest missions could propably be completed with one lar. Also more tank makes completing missions much faster.
If you cannot fit full rack of guns you could try to fit a nos. With a nos you dont need so many cap rechargers.
Also you could try ecm burst module. It is usually neglected but it can save you when you are being scrambled! Warp core stabbers are only good for pvp so do not use them on missions.
If you have trouble with hitting smaller ships you can change SOME of the large guns to medium guns. Also this will increase the amount of pg and cpu for more LARs. This is especially a good idea if you don't have advanced weapon upgrades yet.
Also finally I dont recommend using rigs. They are very expensive to replace if you lost your ship. Use nos for extra cap and reactor control unit for more grid!

Thanks for the tips! I found them very useful and they completely changed my view of lvl4 mission fittings!

You know...if Nos actually worked against mish rats....Ha! And no rigs? No dmg mods? Not to flame, dear...but perhaps you should run your numbers again.
