Edited by: Trinitarus on 04/12/2008 00:15:10 Someone asked me about this and I had no idea so thought I'd post here as Google wasn't any help...
How do Ammatar Mandate systems fit in with FW?
Basically he wanted to know if a member of the Gallente or Minmatar militia was "safe" in Ammatar Mandate systems (i.e. high sec systems in the Derelik region) or whether it was as dangerous as entering Amarr or Caldari controlled systems.
Would I be right in thinking that because they are not directly involved with any militia anyone can enter these systems without "navies / militaries" responsding? Hence making them dangerous as members of any militia can move through them and attack enemy militia members in the region freely without any form of intervention?
Might seem a dumb question, and if so I apologize!
Any help appreciated!

Actually, I think you're right. Khanid and Ammatar should be safe ground. One way to find out :)

True, sadly.
Ammatar Mandate and Khanid Space are free to go for all militia forces, even in high sec. Doesn't make sense roleplay wise, but thats the way how ccp implemented the war mechanics.

It's the same with the CONCORD systems in Genesis, free for all between the Militias without running most of the risk of Pirates.

According to the storyline, the Ammatar Mandate was plunged into confusion after the Minmatar attacks - with a minority switching sides and abandoning their people. As such, the Ammatar government did not take action that lead to our patrolling NPCs fire on either side. However, those with positive standings to the mandate will have positive amarr standings, and those still loyal to the true Ammatar cause are bound to fight by the side of Amarr, with or without a functioning government.
You may be aware that the Ardishapur heir recently was given the 'leadership' position over the mandate by the new Empress. This may lead to Ammatar space behaving like the rest of the Amarr empire in the near future...

Thanks for the replies :)
Big dilemma for him now as his (small) corp is in a militia and does a lot of mining too, the only nearby systems with Omber are in Ammatar space which means to get the amounts of Isogen they need for manufacturing they either fly their Hulks etc into potentially risky systems, buy it instead of mining it, or leave the militia
