After several weeks with no results, our probes picked up a
light reading approximately 20.1 AU directly below the CONCORD
Assembly station. We continued our scanning thinking nothing of
it, but suddenly the reading became stronger, almost as if it had
been asleep and was now awakening. We decided that we would
investigate further. What we thought nothing of had turned out to
be, according to our lead wormhole specialist, an artificial
wormhole that had somehow deteriorated and warped to the point of
becoming a black hole. We made sure to maintain a safe distance
from the black hole to avoid being pulled in by its gravitational
field. As we were orbiting the black hole an odd beam of energy
burst out of the black hole and quickly wrapped itself around our
ship for a brief moment. Before we could react, it was gone. But
to our surprise our shipGÇÖs energy grid had been completely
drained along with all other electrical devices onboard. If it is
even possible to make it worse, we began to drift in towards the
black hole. And we were pulled in.
That was two days ago. Shortly after the events that
happened, our electrical systems came back online. We were hid
behind a moon that was close to the location we exited the black
hole from. As we exited the orbit of the moon, we saw a small
object next to a planet that the moon near us was orbiting. We
didnGÇÖt know what it was so we enhanced our scanners and found
that it was some sort of station, of the likes that none of us
had seen before. Then Staff Sergeant Probets told us what he
thought it could be; a Jovian station.

Thanatos-class vessel, probably was manned by gallentes, who made this 'report'. You don't have to be a scientist to know why you wouldn't fly near black holes. But, apparently, gallente education doesn't provide gallente pilots with information about black holes, except they are, well, suck things in

1. Although there is a possibility of slight radiation from black holes (and their dissipation other time), they don't let huge energy out, unless it is exploding. And 'energy beam' from black hole is absolute nonsense. There are two possibilities for a black hole enormous radiation: first is fast dissipation when it becomes too small (and it will be more like a white small dot), or loss of its stability (because of internal processes or external dominant gravity distortion), that would break the black hole to a super supernova

2. Before ship is 'sucked in' or even touches event horizon, it will be teared apart by huge gravity distortion. No shields can prevent it. If you will be piloting this ship, you will see as both your armor and structure are losing integrity synchronously with shield being intact. Well, actually, shields will be must probably losing charge too because of large amount of space junk orbiting the hole at very great speeds, that will hit shields like bullets from auto-cannon. But, unfortunately, you won't be able to see all this, becaus

3. all living forms on the ship will be dead long before it. They will be simply crushed by enormous gravity field of the black hole. I don't know much about graviton physics, but Im sure that energy of all artificial power sources bound together won't be enough to counteract this raw might of raging nature

Well, actually, I'd like to ask one thing to our scientists: if you get caught by a black hole's gravity trap, will you be able to start warp bubble, or you will be tackled by it?

Tangent: a black hole will emit radiation when matter "falls in." If matter is falling in to a spinning black hole, there will be jets of radiation out the poles. If a black hole eats something really big or dense, or if two black holes merge, the bursts can be among the brightest sources of radiation in the universe. One explanation for quasars is that they are active super massive black holes chewing through gajillions of solar masses (or other super massive black holes) as galaxies merge and collide in a young universe; and, the poetic GalNet search "death star galaxy" will turn up a super massive black hole with its own death beam (doomsday weapon, schmoomsday weapon).

The fact black holes can emit beams of intense radiation does not mean this report is not a forgery.
