I often find gurista or serpentis base when exploring unknowns. But this sites never escalated for me. Does anybody know what is the trigger, or is it even possible for this sites to escalate? |

Shoot all destrubtable structures. Most times they are the trigger.

seriously just shoot all the ships and the "wanted" structures and move on, the escallations are pretty rare

Have done the Blood Raider Base unknown quite a few times, they generally follow pretty closely to their equivalents in others so it may be similar for the trigger. In the Blood version it is the Chapel in the second room, look for a unique structure name, not bunkers etc.....
For blood atleast, it's quite common to escelate compared to the higher up unknowns.

I dont agree. I have a hard time getting these ones to escalate. I must have ran Blood base about 30-40 times over the past 6 months and it escalated 2 times for me. (Only one of the times i got the full escalation with end overseer, alas no deadspace drop)
On the other side i have ran many Blood fortress (i'd say 1-2 notches up in difficulty over base) aswell. This one is not as common as the base but i have had it escalate about 1/5 times i ran it.
Moving on up the ladder (getting too hard to solo now) we have the Blood temple. This is a pretty nasty bugger with neut sentries and lots of dps. Have run this one only a couple of times because its pretty rare but so far had it escalate every time i complete it. (Maybe lucky thou)

for the gurista base on both levels shoot all structures. annoyingly they are both 180km+ from entry.
ascalations are rare on gurista base. usually its one called "consequences smonshequences" which is a 1 level escalation with a dread.
tbh gurista base generally not worth doing tbh.

Allways Shoot the chapel, thats whre the shinys are.
On topic tho, I only get escalations about 1 in 20 plexs. They're random, and if there was a way to trigger, or as ccp like to call it FARM, then the trigger would be removed.
