Canceled due to The Fenix Alliance stating they would kill anyone that came into P3, sorry guys. They're perma banned from all future events.
Fight #C1-001-A
This will be a class 1 frigate free for all in P3EN-E on July 19th at 2300 EVE time. All fighters MUST be in the system by 2230 EVE time.
From 2230 to 2255 entry fees of 100,000 ISK will be collected per fighter. Once your fee is sent, you will be invited into the event chat. At 2255 we will go over the rules. At 2300 the planet or moon will announced. You have 1 minute to warp to that spot. Anyone who warps in after the 1 minute time limit will be disqualified. As soon as you come out of warp, you go weapons free and kill as many people as possible. Last man standing gets 100% of the entry fee pot. A screenshot of my transactions will be provided for review.
-------------Rules-------------------
Anyone who dies or warps out is out of the event.
Class 1 rules.
Any level 1-3 frigates may be used.
No interceptors.
No podding, any podding results in banning from future events.
No duel MWD setups, This is a fight, not a race.
No cloaking devices.
No Target Jamming, multi spec ECM, race specific ECM, sensor damps.
Any target jamming that shows up in my logs will get that pilot disqualified and banned from future events.
1 1MN MWD or 1 10MN afterburner is allowed. Not both.
All weapons are allowed, guns, missiles, defenders, smartbombs, etc.
All level 1-3 frigates are allowed.
Webbers will be allowed to counteract the advantage a single MWD gives.
-----Boundaries-----
A secure can will be placed at the event sight, try to stay within 150k from this can. If you get to far from the can you will be warned in the event chat to get back in the fight. Second offense you are disqualified.
-----Loot--------
A large amount of loot may be left from the event. As soon as the second to last person left is in his pod, the event is over. I have no say on the loot from the class 1 events.
---Future Events---
Want an event in your local area? Sponsor one. A donation of ships, equipment, or cash. 100% of the donations will go to the winner. It will be a direct donation from the sponsor corp to the winner using escrow or direct transaction.
---Security---
It's recommended that you show up early or a day before the event to setup safe spots and insta gate jumps. You can place a ship or two at a safe spot at the event and shuttle your way there. Once the event is over your pod is your own responsibility.
---Additional Info---
P3EN is a 0.0 system inhabited by many pirate corporations. Most of them have agreed to allow the event to go forward without interference. It is one jump away from Obe a 0.3 security system.

I talked to most of the pirates that operate in that system, the leaders of the ones that I got ahold of gave their blessings. To include Huff.

I have found a production company to take all orders on any replacement ships that you may need. They have agreed to take orders at very resonable prices. The benefit to using them to replace your ships is they have all needed BPO's close to the event, their prices will be better then what you find on the market, and you wont have to do 12 jumps to pick up something like a tech 2 1 MN MWD. Info on their current BPO list can be found here.

I had strongly looked foreward to this event, but now I strongly reccomend against attending. The gate was heavily camped with a warp disrupter and a fleet of what looked to be just under a dozen ships. Pure senseless violence- there were no demands for payment and no profit for the attackers. BTW, there was a HUFF ship in the group that got me- poor form to announce an area safe and then let this happen.

Fortunatly they have a loud mouth member that spilled the beans to one of us, and no one was cought by their attempted back stab.
That being said, because of their acts the event, will not be allowed in p3.

Jeez, come on! Organising a frig tournament in P3-ENE is like hosting the Olympics in Iraq. It's possibly the hottest system in the game and the worst place you could think of. But anyway, thanks to CELES for sending all those frigates to us - we enjoyed ganking them.
Maybe next time CELES will ask the owners first. You don't organise an outdoor rock concert without asking the owner of the field first. Unless you want the farmer to come out and give you the good news with a shotgun . . .

Just to inform all, Huff(which I can only vouch for) has in no way been in compliance with the frigate tournament from the beginning. Letting frigates roam our territory without ANY payment? The doesn't abide by GN, TPS, or any pirate crew's terms that I know of. I know for a fact that Celes has not come in contact with any of the Huff directors about this event. This is the 1st time I have heard about it actually. So please, don't taint Huff's image(doesn't sound right does it :P) of sticking to our word.

If it was about the money then you would have been in touch with Boonaki and made a demand for payment to use the system.

Was I there?
The only fight I was involved in with you guys when you actualy won was the lag fest the other night. And yes I left the fight but I was the second to last person to do so.
Bottom line is we stayed to engage you guys even when your BS numbers had us 2v1. While you guys run at anywhere close or equal numbers.

You had 9 BS, 3 cruisers, 7 frigs.

Funny how all our scouts told us 14bs on your side, and we had 7 or 8. All our other ships were frigates, which made up for the even numbers.
Besides those facts, it would not have mattered what our numbers were when only 3 or 4 of us were shooting while the others just sat there lagged out.
My being that far away was because I was Jaming. And we will bring you lots and lots more, unfortunatly since that fight you guys are back to the safespot routine. Dont really know why except that you have yet to put together another fleet like that.

I'm still trying to figure out what Celectial Apoc thought they were doing holding an event in the middle of a warzone.
And I still find it stupid that people continue to discount Frigates as viable combat units. What's the problem with having a bunch of frigates in your back quarters? About the same as having a bunch of Ints there.

What does it matter what your scouts told... you were there. On did you close your eyes when the fight started? No wonder you didn't do so well.
You had three cruisers, a Blackbird (phionix), Rupture (sheena) and a Thorax (thor). Look at the screenshot... it even shows two of those cruisers.
And of course you blame the lag. Funny how I had only reasonable amounts of lag even though we were the ones jumping on 19 ships with drones deployed.

I held the event cause it was mostly the corps in that region that wanted to attend. I talked to more pirates then anyone, all wanting to go, if you recall allot of em showed up and were turned away. I don't think it would of been as big as I hoped. If you look at the security part of the very first post, I did say stick your frigate in a safe spot and show up in a shuttle. I never said Celes was going to provide security.
