it will most likey be as interceptors are the insureance ONLY covers the cost of mineral's using the average price of the mineral's that npc corp's prices
all tech2 equipment doesn't count for the tech2 componants that are used as they are COMPLETELY under the players control, the reason tech2 items cost to much is only because the tech2 comonants are majorly overpriced by players at the moment as everyone is saving them up for the upcoming shiva update and other tech2 things that might come up.
CCP needs a new way of issueing the tech2 componants, the missions at the moment are neft, i used to get lot's of tech2 part's and now all i get are small frigates or ammo/missiles, can u look into it ccp
this post was funded by Quafe now available in minmatar red. try our new product. Quafe's caldari version "press missiles 4TW" limited sales offer before the next universal improvement |

There's plenty of tech2 components and they mostly certainly aren't overpriced. Insurance won't cover purchase price that's for sure. And no 25mil for a frigate ain't worth it. ~{When evil and strange get together anything is possible}~ A tool is only useless when you don't know how to use it. - ActiveX The grass is always greener on the other side. - JoCool |

OMG it's michael jackson. Sorry mel
T2 components vary at price depending on the generosity of agents at a given time. Tends to create a boom bust economy, T2 components get common, prices drop, and people start hoarding and recycling, next thing you know there is a dearth of them coz the mission bonuses got nerfed and the prices have suddenly sky rocketed.
I quite fancy buying a buzzard but I can wait for the next T2 value depression before I go and get one. 25 mil is a lot to spend with about 5% insurance coming back and a sudden lag spike causing you to lose it to an arragotor that's 1km from you at a gate

A friend of mine has two BPOs of the Amarr Covert Ops boat (can't remember the name at the moment), and he says that they cost around 4M to make, so hopefully we will see the prices drop to that of interceptors, depending on demand of course. And yes, 25M is a daft amount to pay for a frigate, unless you're some rich carebear with loads of cash to burn

Will give hea... err, hand for the component materials of the covert ops :}
I'll gladly give him a packaged set of components to build 1 of his covert ops in exchange for that piece of information.

Apparently he has had an offer of 650 Million for one of them.
My advice? Do it!
