allso playing fromEngland is stupidly expensive,going off Euro - pound for Credit card or Dollar - pound for GTC's has made it almost impossible for me to afford.

You can say what you want about the "global economic crisis" and ETC prices, but most of us remember that when the 30 and 90 codes stopped they all immediately spiked to command a much higher RL$/isk ratio. In fact I doubt if you graphed out currency exchange rates or gold prices or anything else alongside the isk cost of ETC you would find any correlation. It's probable there are less sellers in times of rising inflation and unemployment, but that's way too simplistic to describe this market.
The one sure fact is that when they reduced the product line the prices went up. I am uncertain that the reintroduction of 30 and 90 day codes will help at this point, but to say it would cause further price hikes without offering a theory in explanation reeks of fear-mongering.
As an aside, what were they thinking when placing the 30 day plex as a transferrable in-game item? You will have the same Jita crew buying low and re-selling high with no value added just like everything else on the market. Plus you still can't use them to reactivate an account, and from my personal experience 95% of my purchases are made after getting the "account disabled" popup window. I like options but I hope they are not eyeing this as a future replacement for the timecode bazaar.

I typically pay for two accounts and have a third that I use a gtc for. I've had to drop my gtc account because like others have said I don't want to grind for isk just to pay for my third account. And as for my two paid accounts I have been seriously considering dropping back to one due to the same reason. RL money isn't what it use to be.

hate to break the chain and all but don't we now buy the gtcs ingame via "30 day concord pilots licence" and when u do want to sell a 60 day, that gets converted into two of them. Yes a bit more expensive but the previous system, it wuld take u a week to make the money for a 30 day? Therefore I doubt it would be more than 2 weeks in total just pay? I dunno, just a thought there, enlighten me if i'm wrong!

So.... which part of "Supply and Demand" didn't you (and the others in that thread) understand in Economics 101?
Facts:
- GTC prices are now equal to subscription prices, so GTC buyers are exactly as well off as others.
- 60 day GTC's can be split in two 30 day GTC's, so the "Bring 30 day cards back" is void.
- We currently have an economic downturn. This means fewer people want to part with RL ISK for GTC's to sell for EVE ISK. It also means that more people want to BUY GTC's for EVE ISK instead of spending RL ISK for game time. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that means higher EVE ISK price for GTC's.
- This is completely outside CCP's control. If they lowered the RL ISK price of GTC's, they'd have to lower the monthly subscription costs too. In other words, THEY'D LOSE MONEY! For it to matter, they'd have to lower prices significantly, like to half, meaning their other prices would have to drop too. I don't see them throwing away half their revenue....
- If you can't afford to play this game using RL ISK, you should spend your RL time working for RL ISK, not playing a game.

As someone allready said here: just post reply whit what price u r willing to pay for a 60day GTC ! this is a good way to lower prices of the greedy gtc-sellers!!!

Not really... If someone here posts 400m, but 2 ingame 30-day tokens sell at 550m, will the seller lower his price to 400m?
