I looked at one of the GT racing games for the Wii. Pretty sure I had some N64 games that had better graphics then this next-gen Wii game.
Yea, graphics do make a big difference, I would rather have smooth cartoony WoW, then chuncky-blobfest other.

You put forward that graphics do matter, and as an example you mention a console which has graphics an entire generation out of date but which is outselling the competition hugely nonetheless.
