No idea what is wrong, I don't think I've changed anything relevant lately (but I have fiddled with some settings), but for the past 2 days almost no images will load with firefox. The only site I've found that works so far is BBC news, and I just tried a Google image search and only 2 images were displayed, yesterday none loaded. All sites seem to be fine with IE and Google Chrome.
I'm not at home much atm, so I don't have time to look into it, just wondering if anyone else has come across anything like this. Just for the record: I am not ruling out my having done something stupid, so all suggestions are welcome!

Run Firefox in "safe mode", which doesn't load any addons, to see if that fixes it. If it does then one of your addons is likely at fault. Either a new one you downloaded or an update to one you already had.
Another option is to simply reinstall and see what happens. You should also go through all the settings, including those of addons, and see if adjusting them makes any difference at all.
Basically, I don't know the answer, but there's no harm in trying those things anyway ;/

Go to tools -> options -> content and see if you have "Load images automatically unchecked". If it's unchecked, click exceptions and maybe BBC will be the only site on the list haha.

Well I just fixed it but I'm still confused.
I re-downloaded FF and just installed it as a repair install, no change. I then disabled all my extensions and it was fixed. I re-enabled them all, one-by-one, and it's still fixed. Hmmmmmm...
