can any one plz explaint to me WHY THE ^$)(^*% bookmarks are stored at the server and folders at YOR PC ??????
IS it soooooooo hard to store [10-50 bytes/folder](~48 Kb/1000 folders) at the server ??????
I'm sick and tired of it ..........
I Have lots of folders (or should i say "HAD") and if i'm deleteing one of them ..... all folder system collapses.
this works really simple ....... i still got the file "disk:\path\to\eve\cache\Settings\char_[#########].dat
but when i try opening People&places in Eve it doesn't show ANYTHING .... nor i can use search or look through other tabs ......
so the solution is to delete the file /w folders and do everything again .........
i've done it a couple times ....... i'm not doing it again .......

I agree, in fewer and less harsher words.
Thats why I dont want to reinstall the client, ever, ever ... ever

Just label your bookmarks..
Lets say we have two folders.. One is called Main and the other is called Alternate
Now lets allocate some letters/numbers to each folder.
Main = A - M
Alternate = N - Z
Ok.. So any bookmarks that go into the main folder, you should start their names off with a letter between A and M.. Like this:
A1 - Bourynes 6-2 (My School)
B5 - Ryddinjorn 6-2 (Pator Tech)
So now when you have to clear your cache. You would know off the bat that these two bookmarks would go into your Main folder.
This also helps to keep the bookmarks in a conformed order.
Stuff like that.

I had bookmarks sorted into different folders like paths
"-> [system1]-[system2]"
then i had different minig bookmarks like
"+sys1 minig"
then stargates folder
"*** stargates ***"
then station to stargates
"** station - SG **
and back
"** SG - station **
i had them sorted NOT by name , but by What they do and what they are for .......

I quit using folders once they changed it so right-clicking while in space gives you the list of bookmarks in that system only.
