Great Artista Caldari Veto. Veto Corp	Posted - 2008.12.10 14:49:00 - [41] 5 episodes, well 4 and a half, and thats it. Its horrible, I can't take it anymore. Almost 2.5h from the start and the story is still going absolutely nowhere, feels like the series is but a big filler. ****-armor wearing, sniping soldierchick is nothing short of a clichT (its actually straight copy-paste from that equally bad vampire-anime which's name I can't recall, I think they changed the eye color though Dx), mainchar is accompanied by that stupid rat and the design on the other animals is with one word obnoxious, these little things amongst the major issues bug me greatly. Mechas alone don't make good entertainment, especially when they look this... well... ghey. At first, characters seemed as thin as the concept, but if I'd watch the series onwards, they might become interesting, at least they seem to have the potential. I don't know whether the makers f'd up that one too, but just saying that there could be something more to them. In summary, it's mecha-anime and its just that, nothing more. People look at weaboos wierdly because series like these give anime its reputation. Its not even pretty, so you don't have the excuse to watch it for the art. With all respect; enjoy it if you can, but tbh, I don't see much good at all in it and I can't recommend it to anyone. Don't watch it, nothing of value will be lost. _______ ◕◡◕

WHen they do it fails. it's get good animation. the story moves forward nicely. it's only 24 eps long with 2 storylines so each is only 12 eps long. naruto and DBZ are over 200 episodes long and are crap. By the time you find out anything in Naruto the main character in gurren laggan is 10 years older and the world is rebuilt. OH and lots of other spoilers. it has progression of story, somethign most animes have nothing of. edit:sry for terrible grammer I'm in pain :(
