try that when you have more than abnut 10 jumps - example would be from Perimeter to Rens.
Kinda hard to parse that list since it isn't all shown in the map list.
Just open the map browser again and the entire list up to like 50 jumps will be displayed. And if you are planning for such a long route, check your settings again anyways. Visit my website/blog!

So expecting assistance from a member of staff I PAY MONEY TO instead of an arsey one liner is being a whiny brat ? Hmm, have you ever experienced good customer service in your life or do you just accept sub standard service for fear of looking too noobish ?

Are you suggesting that I should just accept that my settings change of their own accord and just modify my behaviour to adapt to improperly functioning software ?
I believe he was suggesting that, before you turn on your autopilot and go afk, you glance at the left hand side of your screen - which shows you if there are any lowsec systems on your route.
you mean I should not expect to be able to trust CCP's software not to change my settings without my knowledge because if it had not, a splash screen would prevent me from entering a lowsec system until I clicked OK...
tell me, do you use hand signals in your car because your indicators sometimes show left when you mean to signal right ?

you are indeed correct sir, I have just tried it out ...but this still does not solve my problem of the AP settings changing without my knowledge. The other day, the navcom presented me with a route between luminaire and jita that contained 15 jumps and multiple lowsec systems when the setting I had previously selected should be 11 jumps and no lowsec systems....I mean it's not just unsafe it's 4 bleedin jumps longer

You posted saying that "I am absolutely sure it was hisec...somewhere in the citadel" and I find out that you were killed in Rancer, which is neither low sec nor in The Citadel.
Anyway, please file a bug report with exact details on what happens. If you can figure out reproduction steps it would be most helpful.

this.
if you set auto pilot to hisec only it will do its best but it will bring you through low-sec if there is no other option open to it.... you just need to review each step before you set the ap on.

I was actually thinking the same thing. YOU are the one coming up with 2 crucial pieces of information that were wrong. You might be a bit IT illiterate, im a member of that club aswell, but it doesnt mean you cant use the 'ol brain. Also trusting computers software the same as you trust certain mechanics in/on a car is the dumbest thing ever. Its a good thing computers dont directly kill people in accidents (like car crashes etc) or else the human race would be in serious problems. Its not like anybody is asking you to verify code its more like actually checking the light is green when somebody says it is.
