IÆve been playing eve for a few weeks now and I like the game. ive noticed because Eve's not a easy game to pick up I have found that most players are mature and communicative and more than willing to help.
Anyway now for my question.
IÆve got a imicus and Im mining away with a miner 2 and a miner 1 û I have combat droids launched and im mining away in 0.8 space ,but IÆm starting to wonder that there must be more to eve then just mining and doing a occasional courier mission - I fill as though im missing out on the better parts of the game à
Can anyone give me advice of what I should be doing next..

a big part of the game is player interaction, more namedly player pirates that are scum(some1 has to i guess, but still i hate them) and the people who fight to keep them at bay.
mining is a mean's to an end, mine ore, refine ore, sell mineral's, buy big ship with mucho weapons, go and kill.
(i find it's nicer to kill npc pirates that spawn in belt's as they don't take it personally and they drop nice stuff)

Although with my new char I have started doing some mining as Im gonna specialize him in the manufacturing side of eve....With my main char I havent even had a mining laser since I had the newb ship. He spends most of his time bounty hunting, doing mercanary missions etc. If you wanted to you could get into trading, manufacturing etc and never really have to do any mining.
Personally I like the PvP side of Eve too. So there is alot to do in Eve without mining especially if you like to blow things up like me ;-P
