Having the same problem, same error. Test server works fine, TQ not. Tried everything, and I mean everything.

I am having the same problem and I have tried everything in the book including reformatting my Hard Drive. It did not work and it was a pain so I do not sugest it to anyone else. However I think that I may have found the solution. Since when you install EVE off of the disc it is the original version without the updates. Because you Cannot log into the game you obviouslly can not get to the automatic updates. I believe that if you get the fully updated version of EVE things may work better I am in the process of downloading the current Version off the website. Hopefully it will work. I will get back to everyone soon.

Well good news everyone I was able to get it to work. You do have to download the new version from www.eve-online.com but after that it works great. Hope that this helps you guys out to.

Well good news everyone I was able to get it to work. You do have to download the new version from www.eve-online.com but after that it works great. Hope that this helps you guys out to.

i sounds like the lastest CD version to the lastest build is buggy to me, i had a simalar problem about 3 months ago, i had the cd, and downloaded the cd to current version patch and out of the 5 downloads i did of the same patch, 4 were corrupted, and the one that fully installed wouldn't let me on the game(but had the login screen and correct version number)
i downloaded the full game and every time theres a new big patch i redownload the latest full game build as i know that CCP would have tested the full build, but random things could happen to the game on ur pc that could mess up the lastest patch only build's

i was told to chanke ip and after that it worked.. without any changes (same instalation and all) .... hmm a friend told me he has this problem when he trys to logg a couple times fast one after each ther... from same ip (some kind of flood protection?) ..well i hope it help some of you.
ps: it took him 5 days to tell me ..doh...

What IP ? The IP that the ISP assigns to you ? Or you local IP ? Are you on cable ? Dial up ? You use a NAT router ? Please tell more details as I have a friend from Romania with the same problem and would love to get this damn thing fixed. |
