A state doesn't freaking deserve to run dairy commercials if the majority of their population doesn't know what a cheese curd is...
seriously, wtf?

Went to the Leinenkugel Brewery.
The entire time I was in that state whenever someone found out I was from California there was constant complaining about the freaking cows.
Get over it!
PS cheese curds are pretty damn good too

Can safely say that Wisconsin probably has the best dairy products in the world, and California doesn't know jack about cheese(pepper jack, that is.)
Then again, CA mostly sells milk as just milk rather than an end dairy product such as yogurt, cheese, or butter.
(P.S. /me raises a Leinie to OP, Berry Weiss*)

I live in Eau Claire (Chippewa County, actually. Lake Hallie if you want to get specific) 10 minutes away from the original Leinie brewery.
Yarr!
Can't drink, though. Could if I wanted to. Bless the Wisconsin law of, "if your parents allow it."

I don't know. If I were a cow, which I am not, I would be much happier in the relatively warmer winters of California than the negative whatever degrees that Wisconsin gets.

California summers kills cows.
It's been -5 to 25F this December. That's still sweatshirt weather.
Then again, I was born when it was -40F/C, it's the same.

On a somewhat related note, Cheese Curds + beef gravy on top of French Fries = win.
Properly prepared, you can almost hear your arteries clogging up as you eat it but so, so tasty. Known as 'Heart attack in a box" or poutine. ***** Rule 27: 'Don't be afraid to be the first to resort to violence.' -The Seven Habits of Highly Effective Pirates [schlockmercenary.com] |

This is why I like Canada. They, unlike 49/50 states, KNOW what a Cheese curd is.
