Hi guys, I have a question here, what should I train first?
Drone Interfacin V (take 33 days)
or
the necessary skills to Heavy Pulse Laser II (23 days)
Im planing to move to an Armageddon, but I have a good Harbinger for the moment.

Lasers. Seriously, you get more from T2 lasers now then DI 5. Get DI 5 after.

The drone are 'extra', the lazors are primary.
Get T2 large lazers, make sure you have the gunnery skills proper (like controlled bursts 5 is a must) - then move towards t2 heavy and sentry drones.

Lasers for sure. I got a Harbinger myself that I use for PVP and you WILL get more benefit getting those T2 lasers. If anything just keep the interfacing at IV as that suffices - get it at V though if you don't have anything more important to train.

Hmm, DI V gives you another 20% base drone damage, but assuming you have DI IV you will gain only a (2.0/1.8) = 11% increase in drone damage by bringing it to V.
Or you can train HPL II, use Scorch M and be pwnsauce.
... This is not a difficult decision, my friend.

As its been stated, lasers you always shoot, drones are luxury. By that I mean, some missions you can't even use them right away because of aggro issues, there's also the fact that drones need to navigate from target to target for the DPS to continue, while all you have to do is switch target (obviously, hoping you're in optimal+falloff at least, or else you're the one that needs to navigate).
Primary DPS >>> secondary/situational DPS
Personally, don't train DI V unless you want to fly Gallente boats/Carriers

First train Electronic Warfare 4 and train up for Medium ECM drones. Should take no more than a couple days. Then start training for the T2 pulse lasers!
