Everytime I click on a hyperlink posted on this forum it would bring up the exact same page that I was just in. I would then have to click on the same link in the second window in order to get an actual window to where the link lead to.
I've had this problem for six months now. I have the same problem on 3 different computers. Does anyone else have this problem? It wasn't always like this and I find it really annoying.
If this is a common problem could I please get an explanation as to why this as it is?

I have the problem too. Not sure for how long, but I know it wasn't always like this.
Replying to posts requires 2 clicks, opening eve insider if the forum is already open requires 2, links in the forum too.

if you don't wake up, i'll have to stop kissing you. all that flailing has made you sleepy. you rest while i untie you. stay here until they find you. My hand made mannequin. i won't let them get you. they'll know you're mine by the fingerprints on your throat. isn't she lovely? isn't she wonderful? like the *****s that we are, swatting flies from the wounds we design. |

In this case the first click is logging you in, then you are allowed to click again and actually carry out your replying or quoting. Someone needs to change an option in the board control panel I think.

The problem is that the site logs you out too quickly, like 5 minutes. It happens to me too. If you are playing Eve actively (and not at work, as I am), then you have to click once to log back in, then again to actually reply/quote.
I think they should increase the timeout to like 1/2 hour.

If I'm browsing the forum and then click Eve Insider the forum menu expands to show settings and rules. I then have to click again to get to EVE Insider.
Whenever I hit reply the thread simply refreshes until I click reply again and only then will I get the reply box. __________________

After logging in they should redirect you to the page you tryed to visit instead of redirecting back to the page you were viewing.

Been having the same problem too. It's annoying how it seems to get fixed and then borked again.

It's the login. First click logs you in. ( the cookie that gets set when you login only lasts a couple of minutes ) Second click takes you where you wanna go.
So it's not a problem that needs fixing. It's a feature that could use a looking into, the timer is a bit short IMHO. ~{When evil and strange get together anything is possible}~ A tool is only useless when you don't know how to use it. - ActiveX The grass is always greener on the other side. - JoCool |
