Setting a Vindi like a Mach for running lvl 4 missions.. should be legit ??
vindi's webb bonus would go mostly to waste a few frigs maybe... gets drones though.. a 1bill test run gogogo |

Me and a friend are doing Vindi/Mach setup plowing trough l4's.
I love my vindi.. but you can't set it up as a mach... well not efficiently at least,
blaster range is just to meh, and you are forced to chase down everything.
it's blasphemy for most, but i'm using Rails combined with 2 tracking computers/3 magstabs
920dps atm with my skill's (wich are not perfect)
so all in all not too bad... just dont expect it to do what a mach can. |

so? i was thinking 425's with 3 magstabs 3 tracking enhancers,damage control.. mwd for running like the mach large sheild boost with 3 ccc's in rigs for recharge once im range tanking... probably sensor boosting in meds so i can taget as far as can shoot with spike 200k'm's... whats your fit ? 4 slot armour tank or 7slot including the rigs |

if you are going to Shield tank your vindi....with an mwd/sebo... even with 3 ccc's you will be capped out in moments
myself i use 1T2cc and 2T1's, combined with 2 caprechargers.. and have cap for 9 minutes... with an ab.
if you go in sniping range it would work... just remember that the base lockingrange of the vindi in only 60k.. so you will need to go closer.. and your tank will be weak.
Setup like that... buy yourself a mach ^^ |

Really.. Can i sugest a large cap booster and 3 armour tank riggs. probably even dual large reps and a mwd.. thats how i set the megathron. worked fine
Actually , Maybe should take my own advice add a cap booster and have 3 rigg slots to do something with ? |

Vindis aren't Machs. Blasters still don't shoot as far as autos do, and the Vindicator's fat ass isn't going to move as fast as a Mach, leading to a blaster Vindi wasting significantly more time chasing down rats than a Mach would. Blasters also suck a fair amount of cap, which is a big fat annoyance on shield setups.
Should work fine on some missions, where the rats conveniently spawn within your zone of hot blastery death, but I wouldn't rely on this as a fit for all missions.

You don't need dual LARs on any PvE setup but an AFK Dominix, or a 3 month old character that doesn't have the skills to fit proper guns anyway. |

Tanking the lv4's is no issue with my setup.. everything dies fast enough so it never poses an issue.
if i turn off the ab im capstable ofcourse... i'm just pointing out that a shieldtanking vindi with an mwd/sebo... is going to be an expensive lossmail :)
but who know's maybe someone will come by and call bs on that. |
