Yes, because repeating an official CCP announcement nearly verbatim (sans title) on some site I never heard of before today certainly does warrant YET ANOTHER new thread.

What is a Poxy and why does it say that this exploit is four years old when there is no proof AFAIK of that at all, seeing as (again AFAIK) moon mining wasn't even in the friggin game yet four years ago?

I read the original post and the first thing that came to my mind is this guy said he was a cheater and then expected all to believe him. I guess my faith in the EVE community has dropped a bit in the last 36 hours since so many are blasting on about it. That or every troll in the past 24 hours is somehow connected with the shenanigans and want to blast CCP for busting them.

That OP from the cheater is a classic example of a guy who was busted and banned, and now wants to harm CCP with whatever he can, and in the act making himself look like "poor lil me, who even petitioned it 4 years ago" - I personally have a hard time believing CCP/GM ignoring such a petition.
And isn't it funny how people are panicking and screaming up about this, as this won't affect any of them in any way, but a dime extra to pay, for a limited amount of time, for some T2 items? Classic "I missed my soap today - let's make another drama" mentality

Well... hopefully it'll affect people a little more than that. I mean... won't we all feel dumb for making so much noise about this if prices settle back down to current levels in only a week or two?
