ôIÆm out! Oh my god IÆm out!!!!! ö Guilbert screamed.
When his ship got surrounded by the glistering lights of the warp tunnel he almost felt like making his way into heaven, but he knew on the other side of this tunnel a safe spot and the rest of his fleet were awaiting him.
Although by the damage his Tempest class battleship had taken he had been closer to heaven he actually wanted to.
He was still overwhelmed by the adrenalin and emotions which came up during the battle he just had escaped.
Dozen of thoughts stormed through his brain.
ôHow did this happen?ö
ôHow did I escape?ö
ôWhere did they all come from?ö
ôOh my god they got Wildcardà!ö the last thought was almost like a smash into his face.
He tried hard to cool down and arrange his thoughts.
ôStay calmö where always the appeasing words of his CEO Wildcard when members of his Corporation ôSteel Vipersö where heating up.
Since Guilbert joined the Steel Vipers he had fought dozen of battles along with his corp. mates.
They were hunting down Pirates in the Syndicate System far outside the safe and protected routes of the major Empires.
ôBut this time it had been differentàö he thought and focused on his memoriesà
The Steel Vipers had been travelling in a small Fleet into the system P3EN-E in The Vale of Silent region, almost on the other side of the Galaxy.
This space is known as the ôForsaken Empireö, a strong hold of pirate organisations and claimed by the ôCurse Allianceö.
They had known that there would be a lot of fighting when entering CA territory and had been prepared, but almost nothing could have prepared them on the massive resistance which was to comeà
When they entered the System only a bunch of pirates where opposing their small fleet.
Since the pirates wasnÆt expecting the Steel Viper fleet which was mostly set with all typed of battleships the pirates fled into all directions in their frigates.
The small Steel Viper fleet gathered at a nearby Jumpgate and were awaiting the pirate forces.
At first only a bunch of Frigates had shown up flying at a safe distance out of the range of Steel Vipers guns and scanners, obviously scouting the activity of the CA space intruders.
But what they couldnÆt see was another nearby hidden small Steel Viper fleet.
Time passed and nothing happened and some of the Steel Vipers were already getting impatientà but suddenly the first pirate battleship Raven class came out of warp approaching their position, leading a bunch of other battleships.
The STV Intel sent a message to the rest of the fleet and the battle was rising up.
The target was called and some seconds later the Raven was warp scrambled and trapped by the cross fire of the entire Steel Viper fleet.
ôThings already didnÆt went good at that pointö Guilbert thought.
Space is endless in time, but in this battle time was working against the brave Steel Viper pilots.
The Raven was catching hit after hit but had been pretty good tanked and withstand the bombardment for quiet some time and then finally blew up in a huge fireball.
The STV fleet cheered for their first kill but the time the Raven had cost to be destroyed, was summoning a huge pirate fleet engaging them.
ôTime passes and tables turnö Guilbert thought.
What was ment to be a controlled hit&run action was developing into an uncontrolled all out battle.
The next target was called and under fire when more and more pirate ships came out of warp and opened fire themselves on the Steel Viper fleet which now was more than outnumbered.
ôThe order to retreat came a bit too lateàö Guilbert said silently to himself.
The secondary target went down so was one of the Steel Vipers Ships flown by Graylock,a fine pilot himself.
ôEverybody retreat!ö Wildcard screamed and then ôDamn, they got me scrambled!ö
It was too late Guilbert was watching ship after ship of his fleet retreat and on the other side his CEO stuck and hammered by the enemy ships and then things started speeding up.
The next thing he could remember was that he didnÆt see any way to help his CEO all he could do now was taking care of himself,so he set course on his fleets safespot and engaged the warp drive when suddenly his scanners alerted him of a bunch of frigates and a cruiser targeting him.
His ship aligned to warp out but nothing happend and he realized he had been warpscrambled by the smaller and fast locking ships.
He concentrated all his firepower on these ships, but they were too small and too fast to hit for his big guns so he opened his drone bay and 6 of his Wasp heavy drones engaged the treat.
His scanners were alerting madly about dozen of other ships starting to lock his Tempest and his cameras were showing that the battle came to an end and the rest of his fleet were warping out.
Mess with the best..

And then his thoughts came back to Wildcard, but he could only take a glance at the last blows which destroyed Wildcards Tempest.
Guilbert was all alone now and there was no way out and he knew this was his end, when suddenly a nearby explosion got his attention and a familiar voice said, ôWarpdrive activeö
Guilbert came out of his thoughts and went through his ship logsà
The last shown hit was one of his paradise cruise missiles taking down a Kestrel class frigate, which had obviously scrambled him.
ôThe other frigates probably had to back off since they had to fight the dronesö he thought.
And the cruiser was taking a lot of hits anyway.
ôIÆm outö he said again, this time silently.
ôBut that was just the first fight... there are a lot to comeö he thought when his ship fell out of warp and he approached his fleet again.
Mess with the best..

it was a cool fight and the losses were the same on both sides i think :)
we lost 1 tempest 1 scorp and a vigil.
and huff technologies 1 raven 1 scorp and a kestrel :)
allthough u guys made us wait a bit too long ;)
we knew u would gang up but hell it seemed like u called all pirates of the region together hehe 
as i said it was still fun

I just watched the movie and i have to say
That guy in that apoc is one brave pilot.
Sticking near those battleships of the enemy being swarmed by drones and and even staying when the opponents fleet warp in.
