As it seems R&D is not a job for ppl in eve.
It is more like an alt-job.
It really doesn't take too much of an effort to maintain 1 or even 3 different agents.
So this lead to the hordes of alt-researches that have ruined the whole loterry thing.
Why oh why isn't research a full-time job?
Why is it not like the agent-runners? Do a mission, get RP. Rinse and repeat.
That way the effort bring more chances to get a bpo and it's not based on luck*days_researching.
On the other hand I have no idea about these stuff. I've been reading a few relevant threads and I was pondering on this matter.

a valid point indeed.....
a more effort/rewards bases system as oppsoed to this pot luck affair.
its highly annoying to run 4 rd agents and get jack sod all for your efforts.
