Im looking to figure out what the best ship for me to rat in is. Will be killing bloods. I can fly deimos and ishtars, or I could use my alt in a cerb(no gunnery skills just missiles)
Basicly im not happy with the dps out put on my ishtar(dont have t2 heavys yet will they make a massive diffence?) so just wondering if the dps of a cerb would be greater than that of an ishtar,cerb can have t2 launchers in 10 days or so ishtar heavy t2 drones in 21 days.
Can of course use bs's, but they are pretty slow, and I dont like fireing a ton of missiles at frigs etc in a raven(will it be as bad in a cerb?)

Cerb might be better,but once you get t2 ogres rats melt, literally melt. dunno tbh, i think ishtar with t1 ogres still outdamages a cerb

But Ill agree with the above, cerb is not the best ratter (only kin dmg bonus). Cerb is only ok agaisnt guristas, anything else is meh.
A deimos can actually be ok but you have to watch ur cap etc, that much effort is not a good idea for something as supposedly simple as ratting. The ishtar is like a mini-domi, t2 heavies will pwn, and in the mean time t1 ogres will do fine.
If you really want to go with missiles id use a drake over a cerb, insurable + better tank + drone bay.

if you don't mind training up another race the sacrilidge would be good for killing blood raiders will take about the same time as T2 heavy drones i think been a while since i trained cruiser level 5 but a damage bonus to all damage types on heavy assault missiles smaller drone bay than the drake but you don't need to put nearly as much effort into the tank and it looks FAR cooler than the other ships mentioned
