i found this short little clip on the tube about the 20ú note.
now i'd really appreciate if any of you bright british ladies and/or gents could fill me in on what this symbolism has to do with the british people who use this currency daily, and who are consequently potentially subliminally affected by its content.
hmm
or maybe it's just an absolute complete random coincidence that the geometric shapes turned out like that when whomever decided to come up with this nifty little design, it just seems puzzling to me anyways that such would be the case on a monetary bill that british people use for barter and which ought to (well maybe i'm just silly that way, you know how us silly liberals can get) represent british values and the british people, it could be just me tho, so therefore i put it to you intelligent minds in here to inquire for various perspectives on the matter.
thanks in advance and have a good day.

to start with, the analysis did not include every line in the star in the middle, so i put the whole thing down to crazed conspiracy theorists grabbing at straws to get their few seconds of ill informed youtube fame.
Secondly, even if the designer was satanist, well why should i even care? freedom of thought and all that, i know a few satanists and they are quite ordinary people, and while i don't share their beliefs at all, i won't vilefy them for it.
To continue the video shows a shcoking level of racist and antisemitic bigotry, which discredits it completely in my view. It actually saddens me tht there are still people with little enough knowlege of other cultures to do this...
finally, what do i think when i see this note: " oh great, a 20 pound note." then i decide whether to save it up, or spend it. that simple.

I dont know much about whats going on in the middle of the note, but what I do know is that the queen no longer looks as youthful as she does on that note, hence this means that for the purpose of making the note she uses an illuminati satanistic shapeshift into youthful form untill the portrait is performed, then she shapeshifts back into old and sinister form.

There are lines all over the note. There are bound to be recognisable patterns in it that weren't intended. The lines are just there to make it more difficult to forge. ____________________

I've never really concentrated that much on the new ú20 note. Usually they don't stay with me for very long, they are transient by their nature for one thing I don't personally buy into the kinda ideas that short video tries to get across though I will look closer when I next grab my wallet.
The only design features that I take note of is the ever present "I promise to pay the bearer..." line which ultimately translates to the note in itself being valueless. It's basically an IOU from the Bank of England we pass around to each other, but has no actual value in itself. The other thing, one I quite like, is the famous folks on the back of the note, opposite Her Majesty. Shakespeare, ****ens, many other noteworthy (boooooo!) personalities, I think adds a little charm to the note.
Still, at day's end I'd rather we just joined the Euro and got on with it. Proud I might be on some small level of our british heritage, but I'd personally rather be fully a part of the EU. The union of the American States seems to work quite well and it's only the UK and Switzerland still dragging their feet about the Euro. Metric system, Euros, croissants and paella, that's what we should be about -------------

I will have to agree with this.
Subliminal messages require individuals to no to be aware of said message. Anyone could take the time to draw lines out like this and see what designs they make. Not very subterfuge like. Subliminal messages also require that the individuals, that are under the effect of said subliminal message, pay enough attention to what the image is embedded in for it to take affect. I do not think to many people stare at the face of any bill long enough for any "message" to be embedded in their minds and then take effect upon their actions and thoughts.

Edited by: Arianhod on 14/12/2008 13:56:33 Did I just see someone thinking a Rose beside an image of the Queen, who just so happens to be of the Windsor's, and has the ownership over the lands of the former York and Lancaster is the cause for a great conspiracy?
An English (note I say England when I mean England) civil war was called the War of the Roses as it was between the houses of York and Lancaster.... both of whom were represented by roses. Lancaster won and become the Tudor's, the most famous (and last) was Elizabeth I.
And with going into the Euro, we still get to have a British varient of what's printed on the coins if I recall, we can just mint Elizabeth's mugshot onto ours and balance is restored Haruhiists - Overloading Out of Pod discussions since 2007. Haruhiists - Supporting Linkification since 2008

When I was in Cornwall a few months back I was wondering if that note was a forgery as I had never seen it before....
I then realized that the multiple notes styles in Britain was really out of hand and if we don't go into the Euro then we should just have the BoE notes.... Haruhiists - Overloading Out of Pod discussions since 2007. Haruhiists - Supporting Linkification since 2008

Not really. Since in England/Wales it's only Bank of England notes that are issued. And you can freely change banknotes at the Post Office.
Refusla of Scots notes is a non-issue, only brought up by petty nationalists who fail to realise the rest of the implications. Such as the independence of the banks.

Well lets see. It's got the Bank of England on. A rose which is a symbol of England from way back and then to the right we've got some random german.

I stand corrected. An inbred German in the corner
(They were Saxe-Coburg Gotha before they changed their name during WW1 so we didn't load them into a cannon in Dover and fire them across the Channel.)

As long as we're on English currency I need to have a question answered about what I'm holding. I think it's either a pence or a quid but I don't know jack about your various coins.
It's basically a curvy little coin with the queen on the front, a 1 on the back, and it kinda feels like plastic.
