I give up!!!!
This topic has been going on in one form or another for longer than i care to remember.
Yet there is still no response from those on high.
You can talk/discuss/argue & flame away for as long as you want, but if your looking for an answer/solution to this 'so called' problem then my guess is it will be here 'soon(tm)'.

Alot of us dont have Mommy and Daddy to pay our bills so we can play 24/7 and set a alarm clock to wake up and start another skill training..
*Scratch* Guess what? Me and for sure thousends of other mature players face the same "problem". In fact I am USUALLY on biz schedule and this schedule rarely fits with EVE-schedule. So You know what I miss a lot of training (from row calculation its about 30% where my avatar is not training). Anyhow I would be sad if some kind of traing scheduler would be implemented. This still is a game and man if I miss some days of traing or even many days of traing, heck whats the problem? I still have fun with the game and thats what I pay for. I dont pay for some stupid virtual competition. If You really got a life like You state above, then face what EVE is - a GAME, not a contest where You "HAVE TO win for any reason". Somewhere You have to decide, either compete in a virtual universe and be the ultimate ruler or better yet focus Your power to Your family and real life and use games like EVE for Your personal enjoyment (and thats what they sell to You)
Sincerely Yours Juma

Hmm... i've been playing a couple s months now and (except in the first week when i didn't even know what skiltraining was ) i haven't missed more then maybe an hour or so... (if i count all the seconds between switching it might be even 1h 10min )
I have a job, i have a gf, i have a life... and (gasp) i still have time to play eve like 4h a day
Still, the only thing i never understood is this, why didn't they just make it so that if your (enter skill here) L1 ends, it continues untill it reaches the end of L5? I don't mind logging on and switching it, but if i'm planning on training (enter skill here) from 1 to 5 why should i be bothered switching it myself?
But in all fairness it doesn't really matter much for me, if CCP would implement a que, i'd probably use it, if they never will, then so be it, i don't mind.
Now i will leave u to your flames again, thank u for your time. signature? What signature? ;) |
