So it's been 5 years since I played the game and recently got back into it.
I distinctly remember having and using a tech 2 bpo in january of 2007 though I left the game a couple months after that. But now I can't find it. I even still have the notification from the research agent that we had a breakthrough in research.
I've had a breakthrough!

But what the hell is a Hellfire Rage Assault missile? EVE-central did not find them up on any markets. The only tech 2 missiles I have are Inferno Rage Assault Missiles. So did they convert the item to something else?
I repackaged all my ships to see if the bpo was hiding in a cargo hold somewhere. I also remember having a conversation with a corp mate on another account and he asked to use the bpo while I was away and I thought it was a good idea but I couldnt because I had already let this account expire. So where did it go?
Any insights into this mystery would be greatly appreciated.

CCP has been renaming everything in an effort to simplify and standardize things, or enrage bittervets, depending on whom you ask.

missiles are renamed according to damage type:
kinetic: scourge
em: mjolnir
thermal: inferno
explosive: nova
so what you found is the blueprint you looked for, just another name |

I realize reading patch notes from the past 5 years would be a lot ... but would it be that hard to read the last few?
Don't assume bad intent, when stupidity is the much more likely cause. |

Ha!! K I found my missing tech 2 blueprint. The default filters for the research tabs were culling my bpo. I set it up in a build job before I quit the game. The job finished and now its sitting waiting to be delivered. The date on the job is in 2007 and the filters were only showing 2012.
EVE-Meep helped me find it because it gave me a notification that I have a build job completed with my missing bpo. |
