I just want to know if any one has tried ratting in a zealot? Is this plausable, or is it just fail?

Great for ratting sansha and bloods, just don't try to rat angels with it. 
Not having to restock for ammo is a big plus.

You could certainly do it. You could easily do 400+ DPS, use no ammo and be mobile while you are it. Something like this (set up for Blood/Sansha) would work.

I used a zealot for ratting Angels upto 1.8m isk
4 T2 heavy pulse and a cloak
AB x5 web cap recharger
3 heat sink 2s MAR 2 DC2 and 2 racial hardeners mine were Exp and Kin
2 x CCC rigs
Worked well needed the web though cant remember the little sods that orbited you real quick may not have had DC2 but a nano plate II.... Saints do therm damage too

advantage, no need to reload ammo
disadgantage. **** cargospace for loot
and its works fine on angels, in fact in tanks them like its a joke.
