C'mon CCP, if you really want to slow down the economy, and with Hulkageddon on the horizon, ganking should be made easier.
Why should gankers have to sacrifice 3 catalysts to take out a Hulk in 0.7 space. The ratio of ISK lost should be at minimum 200:1 in gankers' favour instead of this trivial 80:1 it is today.
In that spirit, please triple the DPS of Cat's and quadruple their alpha. And whoever decided that 9 Tornado's are required to take out a freighter where the BC's can get off 2 shots, well that is totally unfair to gankers.
At the bare minimum, using the 80:1 rule you established with catalysts vs Hulks, it should cost no more than one Tornado to take out a freighter.
Please make these changes before Hulkgeddon. We certainly can't have any high sec people trying to eke out some profits from the increased mineral values, since clearly the changes were designed soley for the benefit of the CSM/null sec. |

I don't know about the rest of you but this idea has some potential.
Just needs a bit of tweaking.
Along with making your weapons jam and miss their first cycle. There should be a 10% chance or so of your jam being catastrophic, causing your ship to explode.
Imagine all the fun!
Random ships in 1000 man fleets, just randomly exploding first few seconds of the skirmish.
Or the random level 4 mission runners exploding, in the first few seconds of engaging npcs because of weapon jams.
Or incursions runners...
The random pirate when they attack that defenseless industrial ship.

A catastrophic jam should only damage the hp of the turret itself. And jamming can only happen when overheating. |

I am masternerdguy and I approve this message. Ganking is a long neglected gameplay element CCP should expand upon.
How about another destroyer hull with 3x the dps, the ability to warp cloaked with a prototype cloaking device, and only costs 5m isk? Things are only impossible until they are not. |
