ok guys i have used eft to set up a golem yet when in game it does show a damge bonus when i bring up the fitting can any one confirm this for me

yeh they work with torps and any other missile

Shoot a rat. Now dock up and strip all your BCS's and shoot the same rat.
They make a huge difference.  Some stats just don't show up as being affected by certain module effects.

To check your missiles damage you need to undock, right click on your ship, show info, modules, scroll down to your torps that are loaded, click show info on them.
Right clicking on missiles in station won't show you the correct damage, velocity, etc.

Or undock jettison and can and fire at it once, though for a torp you might need something bigger... shoot a gate and tell me which system you are in (I presume highsec) so I can come scoop...errr I mean watch

first off i bought the character off the forums i have always used turrets never missiles so idont know the mechanics.so that shuts up the ebay comment thanks for the info to all the rest of u guys its just my iggnorance of not learning missiles.

What you wrote doesn't make any sense unless you mean "it doesN'T show a damge bonus when i bring up the fitting".
If so, this is a known feature. Rest assured, you are getting your damage bonus. If you dont trust me, calculate your damage per missile (EFT?) then go fire missiles at a structure that can take damage and compare. Ta-da!
