Edited by: OK USA on 16/12/2008 02:37:43 From CSM minutes.
"10. Is it true that this issue has been reported through the petition system and through email three years ago? There are forum posts from that date that indicate problems with the starbase reactions, and the people that reported them claim their petitions and emails were not answered.
EyjoG stated that they were still trying to verify this. The petition system has changed and CCP had customer support outsourced at the time. It will take time to look through old databases."
then one question later,
"EyjoG stated that generally speaking, petitions filed in the exploits category are immediately assigned high priority and get attended to within the day. Sometimes however (like in this case when the petition was not filed as an exploit)"
So they know it was NOT filed as an exploit, but it will take time to look through the old database to find it?

Exploit = 1 of like 35+ sections you can file a petition under...

Point 11 was referring to the recently filed petition* about the exploit, in regards to how the current system works.
* "On December 7th 2008, a date which will live in infamy, a petition from a concerned player alerted us to a serious problem with Starbase reactors. The petition had been filed five days earlier,..."

What the ****. You are replying to a thread with a new thread?
Also it is pretty obvious what they meant.
------ I can picture in my mind a world without war, a world without hate. And I can picture us attacking that world, because they'd never expect it. |

Now there is a content idea.

Yes? I would imagine that it goes something like:
How about "SELECT * FROM petitions WHERE 'type'='exploit' AND MATCH(description) AGAINST ('POS');"? – 0 Records found.
Crap… time to start searching manually.
(Also, yay for pseudo-SQL )
No sig for me, thankyouverymuch. |

I am a database professional, looking in databases for stuff is a piece of cake. I reckon they don't have the database to look at. Even if its been archived, we call IT, they unpack the tape to the network, we SQL the stuff out of it. Takes half an hour. ------------------------------------------- ôIf you are in a spaceship that is traveling at the speed of light, and you turn on the headlights, does anything happen?ö ------------------------- |
