Yeah the black logo .png file looks to be about as close as you'll get if you want the complete image in flat colors. I tried turning the larger "painted" white logo into a black and white stencil in Photoshop, except that:
1. the tops of the ears are missing in that picture
2. too many artifacts kept showing up after I applied various changes to contrast and levels and so forth
and most importantly
3. it's probably not really legal to be altering that copyrighted image
Although on a semi-unrelated note, can you please remove the Caldari insignia from Caldari-hulled pirate vessels and replace it with the pirate faction insignia? Just something that came to mind when I was thinking of things to list in that nitpicking thread over in Ships & Modules.
