my eve client was getting a error, more specificly it was the evefile.exe i deleted the eve folder and reinstalled the whole client. now the splash screen loads and i have a eve tab on my start toolbar on xp but i can not get the client to come up anywhere. i am running dual screen and use evemon to move it to screen 1. it will not work with evemon or no evemon running.
thanks for any help you guys can give me!

How did you fix this problem? I normally run Eve Premium with no problems on my laptop, but this afternoon I came home for Christmas break and plugged a second monitor in and I am now getting the same issue" Load Eve, the first screen pops up, then Eve reduces down to a tab on my taskbar. I have unplugged the second monitor but still can not get Eve to load. tried a reboot as well with no joy. I am running on Vista.

I have the same issue on my laptop with a single monitor. I got a nasty graphics glitch that crashed both clients. Then when I teied to log again I get the maximise to no where thing. Any one have a fix?

Search for a file called PC.DAT in your eve settings folder. Delete/rename that file and start eve. This file stores graphics settings and it is most likely carrying a corrupt setting.

My client won't load either after the latest patch. Uninstalled and downloaded the latest full build (premium graphics version), minimises to task bar after splash screen, CPU at 60% and nothing else.
Uninstalled, downloaded and installed the latest classic build - still the same. Getting pretty fed up with this now :-(
Dell Vostro laptop - Vista Ultimate, nVidea 8600M GS, latest drivers, etc....
