I'm new to the game, I've only had it for 3 days. I found a good deal on the Gallente Industrial skill, but I had to travel from Yulai to Noranim to pick it up. So I hopped in a cheap frigate I bought and headed out to Noranim and grabbed my skill, but then a guy named Trevedian showed me that he had improved cloaking, and asked me if I wanted to see it. I followed him out of the station I was on and we entered a gang together. He took me out to an empty part of space and he attacked me and blew my frigate up, along with my Gallente Industrial skill.
Trevedian is a scumbag, I recommend everyone steer clear of him. He is extremely dangerous. I lost a skill that cost me all the money I saved up, and now I have to go back to Yulai empty handed.

This is a perfect example of a player griefing! Someone with 15 million skill points tricking and attacking someone who has been playin' 3 days, wtf?

Its not an alt, my corpmates know both my alts... In my own defense, I didn't check this guys corp info, so I had no idea his character was only 3 days old. I could post w/ both my alts and prove it

Your mistaken...
What r u carebears smokin? Your allowed to invite someone to a gang, then gang warp them to a planet, then kill them.
Or is CCP calling that an exploit now too?

What he is talking about is before a lot of game revisions you used to be able to kill someone in a gang without any consequence from Concord, he assumed when he mentioned the gang that this is what you did. However, it is painfully obvious that the gang was not an element in the griefing, you were in .4 and below and killed him, and away from Concord response.

unfortunately it is players such as Trevedian which make the devs consider more rules against pvp to stop this sort of lame no brain activity happening.
You can blame the carebears for moaning but you also have to realise idiot tricks like this simply do the pirate business no good at all.

Yarr Trevedian, that aint so nice, blowing up frigates aint that fun, why not go after the occasional cruiser or BS rat hunting in 0.4<->0.0, why a frigate from a dude 3 days old

I can assure you guys I'm not Treverian, nor do I have a pirate alt. I've played this game for 3 days so far and I still don't know a whole lot about the game, but I'm slowly learning. Today was just another learning experience for me. I recovered pretty quick after it thanks to my corp and someone who read this topic. Thanks you guys.

I can assure you guys I'm not Treverian, nor do I have a pirate alt. I've played this game for 3 days so far and I still don't know a whole lot about the game, but I'm slowly learning. Today was just another learning experience for me. I recovered pretty quick after it thanks to my corp and someone who read this topic. Thanks you guys.
