Drantis stepped down as dictator, leaving two people at the reins. One was perma-afk, and the other wouldn't make any sort of decisions. Pilots recieved orders to move to Deklein to support the stations we had out there, particularly O-2. Meanwhile Vale was overrun - ZLZ-1Z was the first station to fall which was a major issue as Pure's ship building operation was wholly based out of there. Pure then surrendered to GODS in Deklein, moved back to Vale as quickly as possible to pull assets out, while the alliance heamorraged corps. Vale fell, and what was left of Pure huddled in Otanuomi. I quit EVE for a 2 month break, and when I came back Pure. Alliance was down to one corp - Pure Legion, which was also losing members. So, there's what happened from the former insider's point of view. It's a crying shame, I was a proud Pure. pilot for a long time, nearly 2 years, and spent my whole 0.0 life with the alliance. Still some great pilots in Legion, and the smaller alliances that have spawned off. I hope to pew-pew and GF them in the future.

Where did I say you weren't? I said specifically that there were many good pilots there, and I'd be happy to fly with a lot of you again. Some are obviously asshats, but they were few and far between or had left Pure. long ago.
