Hi guys im after a fitting for a 0.0 exploration fit.
Im abit new to exploration so not quite sure how you chaps fit one for all you're exploration needs.
I will have a Sisters probe launcher so any help would be appreciated, thanks.

probe launcher, cov ops cloak and a gun in the highs,
a point in the mids
istabs/nanos in the lows
grav cap rigs.
you put a point on it because if you dont someone will come floating past in a freighter. theres nothing else to go in those slots really. |

I have a very basic fit I use for finding the sites.
Highs are Sisters Probe launcher and Covert Ops cloak
Mids are 1 MN MWD T2
Lows are T2 Overdrive and T2 Interta Stab.

A small AC cannon fits in the high and uses very very low pg. Like someone else said, the minute you go exploring in it without a point, A freighter will be floating around or you will find some other semi AFK guy sitting there. Oh, finding pods in safe spots is also cool :)

Option 1
Lows:
2 Overdrive IIs
Mids:
1 MN Digital rocket booster (you need this one as it has the lowest PG)
1 Warp disruptor
Highs:
cov ops cloak
Probe launcher
off line missile launcher (with bloodclaws in your cargo)
If you happen to see something like a hapless pod or other unattended ship floating in a safe spot, then offline your MWD, and turn on your missile launcher for free (but slow) kills. The scrambler is just there for laughs. If you can get close to a mining barge, you can snag them, and then rocket them to death. But most barges will have drones for killing rats, which will kill you. But like others have said, nothing else to put in your mid slots. The MWD is there in case you run into a bubble.
Option 2:
Lows:
1 Overdrive II
1 Micro auxiliary power core
Mids:
1 frigate sized MWD (name doesnt matter, you can get a MWD II if you upgrade your power core to a better named)
1 ECM burst
1 Small capacitor battery II
Highs:
cov ops cloak
Probe launcher
off line missile launcher (with bloodclaws in your cargo)
The mwd and missile launchers are for bubbles and unattended ships at safe spots. The ECM burst is your last defense in case somebody gets close enough to decloak you. MWD away from the person, hit your ECM burst, hope it works, then cloak. You need the battery in order to have enough Cap in order to ECM burst + MWD.

So i dont need a anaylzer or a salvager or anything like that if i come up against them sites ?

in 0.0, if you find a site you need to bookmark it with the prober, then come back in a combat ship with a codebreaker/analyzer. if you spend long enough decloaked in this thing to lock, crack and loot a can, the rats will pop you. |
