It's always struck me as extremely silly that when you're in a space station you can't look out a window and see if there's a horde of enemy spaceships out there waiting to gank you if you undock.
I mean, all the station models are peppered with windows, you'd think someone would notice the odd fleet hanging around, even if they did try to loiter in a casual manner. Not being able to look outside sorta makes it hard to suspend disbelief, if you know what I mean.
If the overview was available in-station, it would fix this. Just a thought.

personally i would rather be able to look into a station with out having to dock.

Sounds like a great idea, if you make the windows destructable so I can shoot them and kill all of those docked people or force them to all undock
