So what do you like to Fit your Rifter with?
I use
--High--
3x 200MM Autocannons
1x Malkuth Missle Launcher I
--Mid--
1MN MicroWaprDrive
1 Cap Booster
1 Web/Warp Scram
--Low--
1 Nanofiber Internal Structure I
1 Inertia Stabiiser
1 overcharge something. Cant remember exactly
Hit's Speeds of around 3000 m/s and can stay there as long as I have more cap booster charges.
What say you?

hmmm my skills suck and i've not flown a rifter since last time, but....
3xwhatever gun fits 1x rocket
1x MSE, ab, scramble
3xSPR
this was just for lowsec ratting but could probably handle pvp

Don't forget you can always fit a MAPC fit if you lack grid.
And 200mm's use a LOT of grid compared to their extra DPS output.
You should be able to keep your MWD running even without the booster btw.
Maybe train your skills up a bit and fit a MSE for lots of extra hp.
Damage Control??
And Gyros ofcourse...

I use this setup anytime I use a rifter and its really good, it'll kill most dictors (except sabre's) most ceptors, some cruisers and occasionally an AF

If it is solo pvp an active tank is always better then a buffer tank

I'm debating between:
3x 150mm II, 1x Small nos
AB, web, scram II
gyro II, 200mm RT, SAR II
and
3x 150mm II, 1x rocket
AB, web, scram II
DCII, 200 RT, SAR II
The gyro gives me more dps than a rocket, but I have less EHP than the latter which is my reasoning on putting a nos so I can run the SAR longer. Or I can go gyro and rocket, but I like to be a bit balanced.
The 400mm plate works well, though I wanted to give active tanking a try. Hopefully the fight lasts long enough so that I can take advantage of it. |
