Not much to say really,
Its too bad Tri didn't stay together, was by far the leanest and meanest group of pilots that I have seen yet. What Tri did no other alliance has done in a long time with the numbers we had. And in the end it turned out that we were our worst enemy, the same people that made it work initially also decided that it couldn't work when the fighting was done.
What did TRI accomplish exactly?

We went and took a bunch of high end moons, milked them for all they were worth, adopted some new pets to pay us rent, took some glorious stations, napped a bunch of people, "killed" such alliances as Bruce....
Oh wait, no we didn't, that's someone else. We kicked ass, got a ton of killmails, hardly ever lost a fight on the fleet level, consistently won fights while outnumbered, griefed the NC out of a few stations, took on alliances and coalitions that had upwards of 30,000 players... Oh ya, but I guess since we're not in the mothership scamming business or "we will control all of eve" or "hey I'm cool" crowd, then what we did didn't ever really matter =/ That's funny though, because it sure was fun.
Quoting this so you can't edit it later.
While you're on your failtrain of bitterness, you also forgot to mention how you teamed up with BoB to do most of this (actual blue status or not you were more than "neutral), managed to lose a titan in the most stupid way possible to a group of players who "couldn't even last in your alliance", planned to ebay the isk for multiple titans, "killed" alliances such as Hydra, decided to "go get good fights" and ended up in a failure cascade because the only FC in your alliance left, and ended up with the majority of the alliance joining an alliance as prestigious as Atlas.
Damn, I guess you're right. TRI is the pinnacle of what every alliance in EVE should be, "getting on killmails" and kill/death ratios are the only thing that makes you an ElItE iNtErNeT sPaCeShIp PvP alliiance. Maybe PL can disband and we can all join KIA and pretend that we actually did something significant in internet spaceships over the last two years.
Also, for true justice, a great WildCat quote.
Quote:
I guess Tri will just have to use Jump Bridges instead of titans to move fleets. No problem. Now Ill start careing when Tri loses space. I am a dedicated member to the "alliance" not the individuals.
WildCat
EDIT: ****ed up the multiquote

The answer is very simple. TRI would steamroll the TRI B-Team that is PL, and after two or three fights PL would resort to playing docking games in their capital systems, while using titans under cynojammers. Eventually, a PL titan would be caught in a JB POS the entirety of the TRI directorate had the password for. It would be bumped out, the pilot would log off without DDing, and PL would spin into a failurecascade of epic proportions due not only to that, but also to a number of high-profile FCs leaving them due to their total inability to perform.

And this said by someone from alliance who managed to take on half-dead bruce and... oh well i guess thats it. I think even "b-team" would do better than this. You arent even able to stir some **** up lately (or ever? i dont remember you doing something worth recognition). Guess its easier just to sit in one region and come for ready kills while joining winning side.
So yeah i will take "kill hydra, kill ****loads of northerners, disband" over "look at me! im important! i really am!" anyday.
We'd never be able to take on a mighty alliance like (obviously well-respected and not half-dead) Hydra.

It is not me who is trying very hard to sell the image of doing great things with the mk2 to the rest of the COAD audience.

a. DOOM. corp, with a history of idiotic leadership, worthless egos, and recruiting rejects from other corps, it was always destined to fail. They made the fatal mistake of kissing up to the GBC's MAXIMUM failure campaign.
b. Useless egos like SATAN and DHB Wildcat that couldn't do real PvP without epically failing even when they tried
c. Worthless rejects and failures, like HAVOC from FIX and The Requiem fame and Gjks from osht
d. FCs leaving for reasons above and/or going inactive; not that they were any good, .
e. Terrible forum posting like this post, but much much worse
Viper?
I only post with two characters, he's one of the irish from NESW.

what with viper claiming elsewhere on these forums that the only way you can do anything in this game is with a super coalition - and he may have a point, i applaud alliances that seek to be different - that try to shake things up, and when they do... all the bitterness of those who cant do that (or are too scared to) is shelled out at them. and it is beautiful.[/limegreen]
Powerblocs are ****. It's not really playing the game if you have 20,000 people backing you against a single target and it's sad that people are more concerned about "winning" than having fun on an internet spaceship game. The entire point is, though, that TRI is in no way the only alliance that is(was) like this, yet every bitter TRI posting idiot seems that they did something unique and/or important in EVE; when in reality even though TRI did stand against some pretty unfavorable odds, you were just another alliance.
Saying otherwise is just stupidity.

Who would have though that killing a Titan with battleships would lead to the failure cascade of an alliance self-described in the above posts as Elite PvPers?
Improve the quality of your trolling or im giving your main away.
Please do.
