Hi,
I have recently installed a 9800gt and cant change the resolution in windowed mode to anything other than my optimum resolution for my monitor which is 1440x900. I want to be able to reduce it like before to 1200x800 or something thereabouts.
I click on the advanced driver settings and can change the resolution to others but only on full screen, and the windowed mode still only gives me the single option 1440x900.
I have the latest nvidia gfx drivers (180.48) installed and playing the classic version of the game (I will probably give the premium version a whirl now but only have a dual core old school socket 939 4800+ so quite content with classic until I upgrade after christmas).
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Ta, Ed

I just don't get whats going on, I cant choose any widescreen gfx res other than the 1440x900 optimum even when I tried doing the forced one.
Oh well, going to whazz in premium version and see what happens there, I suppose it may be an idea to reinstall the client anyways as I have switched from ati to nvidia.
I will let you know :)

so heres the latest :)
I am currently applying the patch to the premium edition but I notice I can now change the resolution to something smaller than 1440x900 on my 19 inch widescreen monitor.
The thing is I cant set it to a widescreen resolution to make better use of my desktop space, but can only do the generic square monitor resolutions. I also notice on my fathers computer this is the same and he has a 22inch (8800gtx) and cant change the windowed mode to anything other than sqaure monitor resolutions.
Wierd :)

I would welcome any further posts from people who are also experiencing this problem, maybe if it is client side and nothing to do with our hardware, this could be something one of the bods at ccp can look into??
