I have been looking for the past couple of days, with no luck. In my rookie days I remember pressing "ctrl + Alt + ??" and getting a little scope up. It didint really do anything apart from zoom into the pixalated image on screen a certain percentage.
Does any one know if it is still ingame or if it has been removed?
If need be a dev response of officialness would be nice :)

No idea about a scope but if you activate a module with nothing locked a targeting scope of sorts appears, is that what you are talking about?

similar expect you dont have to click a module you pres ctrl + alt and somthign else and then it appears...

I remember that one, never understood why they even implemented it! Anyone knows?

umm, are you talking about the zoom feature? i remember that, though i too have since forgotten the command. i think it may have been removed. it was a neat little feature.

I used to use this feature before, but I believe they have removed it about four of five patches ago.
