Hello all,
If I am in a low sec space, let say 0.3. I am at a stargate approaching. If pc pirates start shooting at me at this point, will the sentry guns help me out? If not, under which circumstances will they help me?

Yarr sometimes the sentrys dont like to shoot
and most people in BSs can tank sentry gun fire.

Are you serious now? There must be some rules when the sentrys open fire and not, or? Is it a random factor involved? :-)

Usually Empire owned Sentries defend All players that are being attacked within their range.
But from what ive read they seem to go funky every now and then and no do a single thing against the attack
