Surely if the ship is worth 80m and the rigs are, lets say Cargo optimisers (35m ea) then the ship is worth 150m so 100m is not that far off the mark tbh. The rigs could have been different and worth a lot more or less of course I still can't understand how someone can mines with a Hulk

I remeber the days before can ownership on my first character, and how people HATED ore thief's. so i resorted to an tried and trusted tactic, Steal the bloody ore and make some isk at same time. Also let them build thier confidence up by not appearing in a hostile ship of any sort, scanning thier ship setup to see what they have mods ( better to know the value of the ship :P )etc., and just kept stealing ore till i felt the time was right. shame the pilot was 60m isk too short. The Yar! is the one thing that binds us all together. Pirates back in the day, and even today, will camp a spot they know will give them the goods they want. Some will ply the trade lanes to see what they can get, or let someone buy a lot of stuff then just take it from them in a car jacking or whatever analogy goes with can flipping :). Anyway, my point is, don't knock someone for participating in one form of piracy, just because it's not the same way you do it. I Could care less as long as she's having fun doing it. Let's face it, that's all that matters in a game. As long as you are having fun doing it, keep doing it. Once you start feeling it's a chore or a job, then it's time to move on.

I stole soem ore off this guy AFTER he stole ore from a miner. several rounds of smack on his behalf and him saying how uber he is.. I decided to scan his ship with my sigil. in the end he poor sod follows me 5 jumps and waits for me at the gate. he asks in local. what kind of ship do i have? I say a hard nut. sexual inuendoes on his behalf unsue. once he gets a look at my sacrilige he decides not to. and runs home crying about how i scanned his ship in advance and its such a noob tactic. some days pass by and i see this guy in a 1.0 system happily flipping cans of an old corp he stole from ( or so i hear ) I rush in with my sigil flip the can just in time to avoid him shooting the can. as i enter the dock command. he open fires on me. right down to 25% armour froma drake... i dock... so does he... I undock in my sacrilige and he undocks in his drake. Panic on his behald ensues.. as this is a station that spits you out at 5km. I lock. scramble, web and neut him. I sic hmy drones onto him.. He askes me to stop killing him so i offer a way out. 20m isk ransom. he pays i let him go... over the next few hours not only did i extort another 50m isk but he also wants a way to have a bounty on his head so he could claim the bounties as people put it on him. so a plan comes to mind. i tell him to make an alt. and smart bomb it in a 1.0 system. not only did he listen to me. he actually did it! he went from -0.1 to -4.x sec in a matter of seconds lol. he undocks in his drake to show the world his new found negatice sec status, but not only is it a spit him out 5km station hes in emrayer 1.0 system. along comes the local police and shoots his beloved drake of 70m isk his final quotes of the day via eve mail are... 2009.01.01 01:48 ok damit i hate this and 2009.01.01 01:39 mm well im dead now and down about 200 mil isk just to have a bounty now he wants to goto providence to make up for being a pirate..
